Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you run a free check. The business name or web address you type, and the town if you give one. We use it to look your business up in public sources and build the report. We keep the report for thirty days so the link you were given keeps working, then it is deleted.

When you become a customer. Your name, email address, phone number, business details, and the content you put on your own site. We need these to run the service you are paying for.

When somebody enquires with you. Whatever they type into your chat or enquiry form, plus their contact details. We are processing that on your behalf. You are the controller of it, and we handle it under our agreement with you.

Your calendar, specifically

If you connect Google Calendar, we use the free/busy endpoint only. That means we can see the start and end times of the periods you are busy, and nothing else. Not what an appointment is called, not who it is with, not where it is, not any notes.

This is not a policy we have chosen to follow. It is the only thing we ask Google for, so the rest is not available to us even if we wanted it. You can disconnect at any time from your settings screen, or revoke it from your Google account, and both take effect immediately.

Where AI comes into it

We use Google’s Vertex AI to improve the wording of the text on your site and the replies your assistant drafts. It runs in the London region under a data processing agreement, and your data is not used to train anyone’s model.

The model never sees a price, a review, a registration number or a customer’s contact details. That is enforced by the shape of what we send it rather than by an instruction: there is no field for those things in the request.

Who else touches your data

• Supabase · the database. Hosted in the EU.
• Cloudflare · hosting, and the network the site runs on.
• Google · Vertex AI for wording, and the Calendar, Places and Business Profile services where you have connected them.
• Resend · sending email, including your sign-in links.
• Stripe · payments. We never see or store your card details.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Cookies

On this site and in your account, one cookie to keep you signed in. That is all, so there is no consent banner to click through.

The chat widget on a customer site sets no cookies at all and does not follow anyone around the internet.

How long we keep things

• Free check reports, thirty days
• Your account and site content, while you are a customer, then ninety days
• Enquiries and bookings, while you are a customer, then ninety days
• Invoices, six years, because tax law requires it

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us processing it. Email privacy@listeva.com and we will do it within thirty days.

If you think we have got something wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first so we can fix it.

Changes

If we change something that matters, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly changing the date at the top of this page.
